Ms. Gimhani Hirunika Perera who was a student of Intake 34, Faculty of Law, KDU has successfully completed the Final Examination of the Sri Lanka Law College in 2021 becoming the Batch-Top and claiming the only First Class in the entire batch. She is the 2nd KDU LLB Graduate to become the Batch Top at the Law College.
Gimhani obtained the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a Second Class (Lower Division) in 2021 and was placed in the Dean’s List for Academic Excellence in the Law stream. She is a past pupil of Musaeus College, Colombo 07.
As an undergraduate, she represented the KDU in various national and international mooting competitions and research conferences. She served as the Secretary of the KDU Moot Court and Debating Society in 2020/2021 and was its Assistant Secretary in 2019/2020. She was also the Chairperson of the Organizing Committee of the General Sir John Kotelawala Memorial Moot Court Competition held in April, 2021.
