EDITORIAL NOTE

Faculty of Law, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University,
Ratmalana Sri Lanka marks the completion of the fourth year of
publication of the Law Journal (KDULJ), with the release of Issue
II of Volume 4 of KDULJ. Since its genesis in 2021, KDULJ has
reached eminence of research excellence within a comparatively
shorter period of time.

Being an internationally indexed journal, it provides a forum for
the national and international researchers in the fields of Law to
publish their work. In comparison to the time of its inception, there
is a significant improvement in the contribution of foreign legal
researchers and scholars in the venture. During the period of past
four years, KDULJ provided a solid platform for the practitioners and
researchers from prestigious institutions worldwide to publish their
research work with proper validation and quality. The current issue
of KDULJ consists of eight articles representing diversity of themes
of Law.

The continuous publication of an internationally indexed journal
consecutively for four years is not an individual task of the Editorial
Committee. It is a collective effort of all the members of the Faculty
of Law, including members of both academic and administrative staff.
The timely publication of KDULJ is supplemented by the presence
of an eminent Panel of Reviewers without whose contribution, the
venture would not have been a success. The active role played by
the Manuscript Editors in the process of publication is also highly
appreciated.
