The Faculty of Law, KDU, organized a pirith chanting ceremony on the 28th of April and followed by an alms giving on the 29th of April, with the blessings of the Vice Chanceller, in remembrance of late Mr. Mangala Wijesinghe, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, who played a remarkable and pivotal role in the faculty’s growth and institutional development.
The Vice Chancellor, Rear Admiral HGU Dammika Kumara, Adjutant, Lt Col KP Rohan Kumara and other key appointment holders including Deans of the Faculties, Directors, members of the Military staff and fellow members of the other Faculties in the University raised in the event and extended their immense support to ensure its success.
The event was made possible through the collective efforts of Faculty and Military staff, as well as the students of the Faculty of Law. The Faculty of Law extends its heartfelt gratitude to everyone who contributed to making this event a meaningful and successful tribute.
