KDU offers outstanding postgraduate degree programmes in Law; LLM (General) and 03 specialized LLM programmes (LLM in Public Law, LLM in Business Law and LLM in International Law) for law graduates and Attorneys at Law, that focus on diversified modules in the contemporary legal context facilitated through legal professional expertise and academic excellence. All courses would develop key postgraduate legal skills and disseminate knowledge with specialization in specific areas of Law. A limited number of students is admitted facilitating effective interaction among all candidates and LLM programmes at KDU attracts high demand in the country.
The teaching staff of the programmes bring together the best legal expertise which includes leading academics, practitioners, and industry professionals with special expertise, as well as visiting international scholars. Candidates would benefit from the rich educational environment while associating with professionals from many backgrounds and industries, and building the specialized expertise and experience needed to gain a professional cutting edge. Lectures will be held on during weekends at KDU and the rest of the learning is through assignments/independent learning carried out at the candidates’ own convenience. The medium of instruction is English, and all the lectures are webcast through the E-Learning platform of KDU. Also, the candidates are provided with E-Library facilities with a vast variety of international legal databases with on-campus and remote access to streamline academic work, research, and knowledge improvement purposes.
