Kaif Sally, a LLB undergraduate of Intake 38 at the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University won the Bronze Medal in the GP14 class competition at the Sailing Nationals organized by the Yachting Association of Sri Lanka and held on the 10th and 11th of December 2021 at the Ceylon Motor Yacht Club. GP14 is a class of boats sailed by two people and popular of boat class sailed in both the regional and international level competitions.
Kaif also took part in the Laser Standard Class and won the 4th Place in the national ranking. It is noteworthy that Kaif was the only non – navy sailor participated in the event.
