Annual Get Together of the Students and Staffs of the Faculty of Law, General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University was held on 11th August 2023 under the theme Eagles’ Night 2023. The Chief Guest of the event was Maj. Gen. Milinda Peiris, Vice Chancellor of KDU. Rector of Metropolitan Campus KDU – Maj. Gen. Lal Gunasekara, Deputy Vice Chancellor (Defence and Administration)-Brigadier Chinthaka Wickramasinghe and Dean of Faculty of Defence and Strategic Studies- Col. Pradeep Rathnayake also graced the event.
This eve of talent is organized to strengthen the relationships among the Students and Staff of the Faculty while supporting them to showcase their creative abilities and talents through Dancing ( Ballroom, Salsa, Bachata), Musical Presentations, Prince and Princess Pageant etc. Best Dancing Couple was Shaveen Amarasinghe and Dinuvi Jayawardhane, and Prince and Princess of that night were Ashan De Alwis and Hiruni Basnayake.
