Maleesha Hirunie Pasqual who was a student from Intake 32 obtained the Bachelor of Laws (LLB) with a Second Class-Upper Division in 2019. She is a past pupil of Sirimavo Bandaranaike Vidyalaya, Colombo 07.
Upon graduating she entered the Sri Lanka Law College in 2019, and has successfully completed the Attorneys at Law Final Examination of the Sri Lanka Law College with a 1st Class as the Batch-Top at the April 2020 Examination with an average of 76.25. She was also able to complete the Preliminary and Intermediate Examinations of the Sri Lanka Law College with a Second Class and a First Class respectively.
At KDU she participated in the 11th KDU International Research Conference, was the Co-Editor of the KDU Rotaract Club for the year 2016/2017, and also engaged in many extracurricular activities including singing, sports and mooting.
Upon her success Maleesha stated that, “I was fortunate to be a graduate of KDU, and it immensely helped me to achieve success at the Sri Lanka Law College. I strongly believe that my perseverance and seamless desire to be a legal professional was strengthened by the correct guidance and the academic knowledge gained through my lecturers and mentors at General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University.”
