Chathurika Sisimali Gunasekera
Chathurika Sisimali Gunasekera a third year undergraduate of Faculty of Law , General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University, won the second best research paper award at the Fourth Annual National Conference on Contemporary Legal Scholarship held on 19th September 2015 at Symbiosis Law School, Pune, India. This is her fifth research conference and she has previously presented research papers in several national conferences. She wishes to thank her parents and Major General Milinda Priyadarshana Pieris, the Vice Chancellor, Dr Prathiba Mahanamahewa, the Dean, Mr Mangala Wijesinghe, the Head of Department and especially the academic staff of Faculty of Law for the immense support extended for her research endeavours. She also expresses her gratitude to the Symbiosis Law School, Pune, India for organizing such a scholarly conference and hospitality she received during her stay in India.
