Hon. Mohamed Ali Sabry PC, Minister of Justice visited the Faculty of Law of the General Sir John Kotelawala Defence University on 29. 09. 2020. During his visit, the Minister has had a cordial discussion with the Vice Chancellor, Major General Milinda Peiris and other officials of KDU, and delivered a Guest Lecture on “Legal Education and Legal Profession in Sri Lanka: Present and Future” to the LL.B. undergraduates. A presentation was also made to bring to the notice of the Minister, the activities and progress made by the Faculty of Law, KDU. While commending the quality and standards of the academic activities of the Law Faculty, KDU, in his lecture, the Minister of Justice emphasized the need for continuous development of knowledge and competences of legal professionals to ensure the delivery of a high quality service to the satisfaction of clients and the general public.
